has anyone had problems getting either types of items through fishing? i'm at master 15 and so far i've gone through periods of over 12 hrs getting neither items that are required for particular quests at termian beach. has there been changes that caused the loot table to drop either items out of the bottom as you go over a particular skill level? (kinda noticed this starting late master 14 and during master 15. )

You need to deselect the "throw useless stuff" when you start fishing.
You should be getting plenty of trash.

well the weird thing is, a) that option wasn't on during those periods because b) i'm getting all the other junk besides the two mentioned; anchor, snapped rope, broken fishing hook & tattered boots (in small amounts, 6~8 per 8 hr period of fishing usually)

I'm finding that even with my comparatively poor Pro2 rating, I'm not getting many trash items at all. I am getting some, so it's not that I'm discarding them, just I'll catch 20 golden trout, 30 various fish, and 5 junk.
Kinda expect it's to do with the changes on the 14th which gave junk some value as trade-ins and added a couple more types to the table. Either that or it's because i'm in the golden area so trash is turning into treasure.

well it's only a problem if you're trying to finish off some daily quests at the beach area which require of all things, seaweed & fish bones. it'd be nice if they'd kept the drop rates for those 2 items (and perhaps the mudskipper as well) roughly the same so we don't spend all 24 hrs just trying to achieve those 3 items.
